On May 17th, 2009 a good friend, Miguel "Rat Boy" Sanches, lost his life. Skateboarders from all over Mexico gathered together to pay their respect -- the photo says it all. Patas saladas por vida.

I was lucky enough to meet and get to know Rat Boy while he was with us. A true skateboarder and all around wonderful person, you will truly be missed Nino. RIP
